Wanna sing the songs that YOU love Join The Community Music Space’s High School vocal group, where we will mash-up, remix, and rewrite songs all using just our voices. Beat boxing, great harmonies, sweet melodies and your favorite songs, all come together in a fun and distinctly contemporary group.

The 'Ol Factory brass band is back! This New Orleans style brass band will meet every Saturday learning old school jams as well as recognizable modern tunes in Preparation for our December march in the legendary SinterKlaas parade in Rhinebeck!
The Old Factory Brass Band is available to kids (ages 12 & up) and adults.
Participants must have a good foundation on their instrument, improvisational skills, and be able to play while walking.
Attention violin, viola, and cello players!
In this performance ensemble we will explore a varied musical repertoire from classical to folk, pop, and world music. Students will learn new musical concepts, practical music theory, and improvisational technique. We will learn to play like a pro while having a lot of fun!
If you’ve had some experience playing your instrument in an ensemble and you’re looking for an opportunity to play in an ensemble, this group’s for you!

Prerequisites: Students must have a good foundation on their instrument, be able to read music, and have played in a musical ensemble before. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will meet with you for a consultation.

About the teachers:
Sean Gallagher is a multi-instrumentalist with twenty years of experience as a performing artist and music teacher. He leads multiple musical groups and performs extensively throughout the Hudson Valley.
Yurie Mitsuhashi is a violinist who enjoys a range of musical genres that include classical repertoire, American and Celtic fiddle, and video game music. She is a graduate of The Juilliard School and received her Master’s degree from Yale University. She is a registered Suzuki teacher and a member of Bard College’s Orchestra Now.

Directed by Mary Ward and Ben Senterfit, this fun filled week-long camp creates an exciting performing arts experience for children and youth. Campers learn songs, scenes, dance/choreography from Broadway musicals and also explore the wacky world of improvisation.

With fun experiments, workshops, and screenings we’ll deconstruct what makes the videos, movies, and tv shows you love so incredible, and how to use that knowledge to create your very own masterpiece. Join us in this fun DIY film workshop!

No need to be able to read music, we’ll learn everything by ear, singing melodies, harmonies, and essential vocal techniques. This class is valuable for those just getting started singing as well as seasoned singers who are looking to create some good fundamentals. If you can carry a tune, this class is for you!
Improv for the Young Performer, is grounded in Viola Spolin’s theater games which are designed specifically for each age group. Through Spolin’s games, students adapt focused play to unlock the individual’s capacity for creative self-expression. Join the fun and be a part of the team that develops and writes an original play with music!
