Jesse Murphy is a New York City-based Acoustic and Electric bass player. Jesse studied with John Clayton, Paul Ellison, Tom Kenific, and Stan Poplin. He also plays guitar, piano, and Tuba. He also performs as a solo singer songwriter and produces electronic dance music.

He is currently completing a method for bass and all instruments that is based on symmetrical scales called The Harmonic Murphy Method.
