The Vocal Ensemble 

Join the Vocal Ensemble at The Chocolate factory in Red Hook.This group is designed for kids 13-18 who want an opportunity to sing in a small group environment while learning essential voice and performance techniques. We will learn fun arrangements to a wide variety of repertoire from contemporary pop, to Jazz and Rhythm & Blues.

We will work on singing individually and as a group while learning how to arrange, harmonize, and keep time.

No experience necessary! Kids just need a desire to sing and perform with others.

Our is to develop the group into a performing ensemble and take over The Hudson Valley with our vocal cords!

About Ben:

Ben Senterfit is a journeyman musician who has over 20 years experience as a performer and educator. He has performed, recorded, toured, and taught extensively. He began his singing career in the late 1980's as an a capella singer, performing and touring in New York, Atlanta, and Colorado, along the way performing with groups such as The Persuasions, Emmy Lou Harris, Bela Fleck, and The Cleo Parker Dance Troupe. Ben holds a performance degree from the Lamont School of Music and is certified as a vocal coach by the renowned voice expert, Dr. Scott Martin.
