Between Jazz......and Musician

The Community Music Space Jazz Combos

Directed by Cara Silvernail & Richard Thomson

In these ensembles, we will learn to play and improvise music of the great Jazz masters.  We will learn melodies and chord progressions of standard repertoire, learning to improvise, listen, and perform as a group - all while having a lot of fun!  The class will take place at the Community Music Space with a house drum kit, piano, sound system and recording capability.  These groups will look forward to preparing and performing small group jazz at the Community Music Space and beyond!

Middle School Combo
Mondays 6:30-7:30 PM
FEE: $65/month

High School Combo
Wednesdays 6:30-8 PM
FEE: $70/month

Directing these ensembles are multi-instrumentalists Cara Silvernail and Richard Thomson, both professional jazz musicians and respected educators.
