Acoustic Ensemble for TEENS

The Acoustic Ensemble is a group for young string players who want to develop their skills,while learning to play and improvise in a relaxed and fun environment. We will begin with classic Old Time, Bluegrass, and Irish songs,before expanding into contemporary music from all over the world. Students should have a basic understanding of their instrument and be able to play a few scales. An ability to read music is recommended but not required. Most of all students must have a desire to play with others. For kids 12 & up.

Class schedule: Mondays, 2:45pm to 3:45pm

Fall Session: TBA

Cost: $90 for 6-week session or $20 per class drop-in; Scholarships and family rates available.
